2010 Dodge Challenger SRT-8 – JBA Full Exhaust System – Completed

Welcome back to our blog. We haven’t been able to show a lot of new projects as we’ve been so busy last month! We want to thank all of our loyal customers for making November our busiest month yet! If this is your first time on here, we tried to show some cool photos of vehicles we are working on and shop updates including specials and events. Yesterday we had a beautiful 2010 silver Dodge Challenger SRT8. We’ve already done some work on this bad boy but now it’s back for exhaust. We installed a JBA cat back system. We started off by removing the factor exhaust in two sections. With it out of the way and compared to the new system you can already tell this thing is going to sound a lot better. With the old stuff out we could start installing the new pieces. Starting off with the x pipe and then the mufflers. With the mufflers done it twas time to move on to the tail pipes. Once the tailpipes were in place the old tips could be reinstalled and aligned. Being a stainless system it’s always a great idea to tach weld the joints to prevent movement and slipping. 2007 Shelby GT500 – TVS Supercharger and Gauge Install – Completed

It’s been awhile since our last blog so we thought it was time to update you with another cool project. The last couple days we’ve been installing a TVS 2300 supercharger and Aeroforce Gauges on a racing 2007 GT500. You might recognize this car from a previous blog when we installed a racing roll bar. Now it was time for some more power! The car already has a Steeda CAI, pulley, JBA axle back and a custom tune from another shop. It put down a conservative 487rwhp. To start off the project as always everything has to come apart. We started off by removing the intake and fuel rails. With that out of the way we could then loosen the belt for the supercharger. With that out of the way we could start unbolting the stock blower and carefully removing it out of the car. With the old blower out we can already see the difference between the two blowers. Now to put on this bad boy. With the blower in place the fuel system, belt and intake could go back on. With that out of the way. It was time to move onto the gauges. We started off by removing the factory pillar and started to run some of the wiring for the new Aeroforce Gauges. With the wiring ran the new pillar pod could be installed and the gauges mounted. After some dialing it they were ready to go. Now it was time for the dyno. After some tuning this bad boy made 608rwhp and 630rwtq! That’s a 121rwhp increase with only 4lb pounds of boost with the much more efficient TVS. Now this thing is ready to get back on the track. Check back soon for more installs by RPMM!

2004 Mustang Cobra – Whipple 3.4L supercharger, upgraded fuel system, Metco Crank Pulley – Completed

Welcome back to our blog! Thought I’d share a car we recently did. It was a 2004 Cobra that we installed a Whipple 3.4L supercharger, custom fuel system, and metco crank pulley. We started off by getting the old supercharger and manifold assembly off. With that off we could take off the old supercharger and start installing the new one. The new blower along with new DivisionX fuel rails and 60lb injectors. With the assembly installed on the manifold it was time to drop on the new blower assembly. With that done, the plumbing and electrical was hooked back up. With that done we could install the new crank pulley and belt. Now it was time to move to the fuel system. With the tank out, the new fuel hat and Ford GT pumps were installed. Also with the tank out it was a good chance to run the wiring for the dual fuel pump driver module upgrade. With that done it was time for the dyno tuning! This bad boy put down 615rwhp! Now it’s ready for the strip! Check back soon for more installs!

Well, it’s been awhile since our last blog, but it’s not because of a lack of work! As you can see we are completely full with a bunch of cool projects. 2001 Ford Mustang Cobra – Mcleod Racing RST Twin Disc Clutch – Completed

Some of you might recognized this bad boy from before when we installed a Kenne Bell Supercharger. Well its back to help get some of that new power to the ground with a Mcleod RST twin disc clutch. These top of the line clutches feature a two 10.5″ disc design to give you the grip you want without all that pedal effort and the drive-ability of a stock clutch! To start off we removed the factory mid pipe to gain access to the transmission. After unbolting the crossmember and transmission the transmission could be removed. After removing the King Cobra clutch that was in there it was time to install the new pilot bearing and Aluminum flywheel. With that done the new clutch system could be aligned and bolted into place. With that done the new throw out bearing was installed along with the new adjustable fork pivot ball. With that all installed the transmission was reinstalled along with the factory mid pipe. With that done it was time to make some adjustments and break in the new clutch! 2010 Dodge Challenger SRT8 – K&N Intake – Completed

Another cool car came into the shop today. It was a beautiful silver 2010 Challenger SRT-8. To start off the mods on this car we opted for the K&N FIPK Cold Air Intake. This smog legal intake is good for 21hp! To start off, we need to get the factory air box out of the way. With it out of the way we can start assembling the new coil air intake. After installing the trim on the heat shield, the factory IAC sensor is moved over to the new intake. With the sensor in place the new intake tube and shield can be installed and tightened up. Now with the tube in place the supplied holding bracket can be installed and tightened up. With everything else installed the new cone filter goes in. Now this thing is ready for some fun! 2010 Shelby GT500 – MGW Shifter, BMR Control arms and relocation, lightweight driveshaft w/ Loop – Completed

We had another cool car in the shop today. This 2010 Shelby GT500 is getting some good suspension upgrades, shifter, and an lighteweight drive shaft with loop. To start off this project, we started with the shifter. After removing some trim pieces and boots, we could then access the stock shifter for removal. With the old shifter out the new one could go in and be adjusted. With the shifter done, it was time to move back a bit to the driveshaft. Once the factory heavy 2 piece driveshaft was out of the way the new driveshaft safety loop could be bolted into place. Now it was time to slide in the new lightweight one piece driveshaft. With that done again it was time to move a bit further back. Now it was time to start removing the factory control arms. After removing the rear seat we can gain access to the 3rd link and get that one out of the way. The new 3rd link and bracket could now be bolted in. Now it was time to remove the factory lower control arms so the new ones could be bolted in along with the relocation brackets to get this thing launching right. With all the suspension in place, it was time to dial in the pinion angle with the new adjustable 3rd link. Once the pinion angle is dialed in, its time for some fun!
