2007 Mustang GT JBA Shortie Header Install: Part I

We are working on a beautiful blue 2007 Mustang GT. The car already has a nice JBA axle back and GMS intake so now it is time to upgrade the headers. We went with the JBA Ceramic Coated Shorties. First the battery is disconnected and removed for better access. Followed by the dipstick. As you can see we also remove the motor mount brackets and starter for better access. After removing those you can get to the manifold hardware. Once removed, we prefer to use the stock studs over the bolts supplied with the kit. Studs have a better clamping force and don’t tend to loosen up like bolts can. Check back soon for the install!
