2008 Mustang Bullitt-Whipple Supercharger and Gauges Install-Part I

Welcome back do another install by RPMM! Today we have a beautiful 2008 Mustang Bullitt and it’s here for something nasty! It’s getting an Intercooled Whipple Supercharger that will product 8-10psi! Along with the supercharger it’s getting some Autometer ES gauges on the dash. We will be installing a fuel pressure, Vacuum/Boost, and an Air Fuel Gauge for safety. We start by removing the strut tower brace and cold air intake. Once that is removed we remove the expansion tanks then followed by the intake manifold assembly. Then the coolant crossover is removed to replace it with one supplied from Whipple. Now with everything removed, its time to run the wiring for the gauges. As you can see we have Autometer ES gauges and a black and silver dash pod to match the interior. We started off by installing the new wideband oxygen sensor for the A/F gauge. A hole is drilled in the mid pipe for a bung to be welded in. Once welded the oxygen sensor can be installed and the wiring ran. Check back soon for further installation on this beautiful green beast!
