2008 Shelby Mustang GT – Heat exchanger, Radiator, Valve covers, Expansion Tanks
We got a beautiful SGT in again today for some more upgrades. We will be installing a Shelby Radiator, Heat exchanger w/ dual fans, Valve Covers, and Expansion tanks. We start off by removing all the necessary components to get the valve covers off. Once removed the new ones can go on. Check out how much nicer the new ones are compared to the old ones! The new ones are taped up to avoid any damage or scratches upon installation. Now it’s time to go on to the radiator, heat exchanger, and tanks. Onces the old front fascia is removed we can get access to the heat exchanger. At this time we noticed that the intercooler pump is much to small to handle the extra capacity and recommended going with the GT500 pump to get the flow necessary. Check out the difference! Now we can install the radiator, heat exchanger, and wire it up. That should help this thing keep cool and free up some ponies and not to mention look a lot better! Check back for more installs!
