1998 Mustang Cobra – Headers, Suspension, and Subframe connectors Install DONE!

We finished up this super clean cobra. As you can see, once we got the K-member out we started working on the headers and front suspension. We started by installing the Maximum Motorsports Caster Camber Plates. Once that was completed we were able to work on the headers. We hit a little snag when the headers the customer brought it were for an earlier cobra. So we got on the phone to JBA Headers and got the right ones ordered up with a beautiful Titanium Ceramic Coat finish. Once they were installed with the mid pipe we were able to reinstall the K-member. Once installed we could finish up the front suspension including the springs, struts, and bump steer kit. Once the suspension was done we could move on to the subframe connectors. We opted for the Maximum Motorsports subframes. Once fully welding is done, the paint can go on. Now after a few adjustments to the alignment it’s ready to tear up the streets! Come back soon for more installs!

  1. That car looks gorgeous! If you are willing, I would love to do a featured post on my site about it. Let me know!
