2004 Ford Mustang – JBA Shorty Header Install – Completed

We had the pleasure of working on another very clean and beautiful 2004 Ford Mustang GT. This car already has a lot done including full suspension, exhaust, and an intake.  To get it breathing a bit better on the exhaust side we turned to JBA  and got there shorty headers. To start, the factory mid pipe is removed to gain access to the stock manifolds. The start is removed to give more clearance to work on the manifolds. With the factory manifolds removed, you can see the difference between the manifolds and the new headers. We believe in using mostly studs in the headers to provide better clamping force as well as a better chance of not becoming loose over time like bolts can do. Some of the factory studs are trimmed down to provide clearance for the header. With the new headers installed the starter and mid pipe can go back in and this thing is ready for some more fun! Be sure to check back soon for more installs by RPMM
