Renegade Performance is getting back to basics…4.11 gear install in a 2010 Ford Mustang GT!
Looking for a way to improve ET’s and low end torque? We know you want to get more low end grunt off the line and lower ET’s…right? Then look no further! Installing a steeper gear in your Pony is the answer! Whether you are primarily on the street, or for race use.
Renegade Performance Mustangs & Motorsports installed a set of Ford Racing’s 4.11 Mustang ring and pinion gear-set in a 2010 Ford Mustang GT. The Ford Racing components feature super strong forged construction, CNC cut & lapped gear teeth, and a black oxide finish to resist corrosion.
This Ford Racing Ring and Pinion Gear set will fit all 1986 to 2012 V8 Mustangs including GT, Bullitt, Mach 1, Cobra and the 2011-2013 V6 Mustangs equipped with the 8.8″ rear end. (We also recommend a master bearing kit, especially on high mileage vehicles).
Attention 2010 and newer Mustang Owners. Starting in 2010 Ford changed the inner rear gear pinion bearing in all 8.8″ equipped Mustangs. Because of this you will require a new 8.8″ rear gear pinion bearing (Ford part# 9L3Z-4630-A) for proper installation, please keep this in mind when scheduling your install appointment with us.
